The lodges are located close to a beautiful beach, with a garden for tents. The camp is natural and spartan, with outdoor showers and a communal kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the sound of the ocean was soothing. The owner and his wife were friendly and helpful, providing rides and delicious breakfasts.

The location was amazing, just a short walk to a beautiful private beach. the meals provided were delicious and the hosts were warm and friendly. having four adorable puppies to play with was a definite highlight.
The accommodations felt more like camping than a hotel, which may not be to everyone's liking. getting to and from the nearest town required some time and effort.

We loved the low-budget accommodations and the beachfront location at Miguel's Surf Camp. The handcrafted camp had a wonderful familial atmosphere, and we enjoyed the authentic experience of staying among locals. We highly recommend taking surf lessons from Miguel and trying the delicious Costa Rican food.
Felt like part of the family, no complaints whatsoever.

I recently stayed at Miguel's surf camp for a week and had an amazing time! The location right on the Pacific Ocean was breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for my surf lessons. I loved how Miguel has made the camp close to nature, embracing a simple and sustainable lifestyle. The sunsets here were absolutely incredible. Miguel himself was a fantastic host, always funny and helpful, ensuring everyone felt comfortable. The small road leading to the camp may be easy to miss, so keep an eye out!

We recently had a fantastic stay at a charming beachfront retreat in a peaceful and relaxing location. The beach was absolutely amazing, and we had it all to ourselves. The sunsets were breathtaking and made for a perfect backdrop to our evenings. The owners, Miguel and his family, were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The food at the camp was delicious, and we appreciated the opportunity to cook our own meals in the communal kitchen. The accommodations were rustic but cozy, providing the perfect outdoorsy relaxation we were looking for. We also had the opportunity to try surfing, with Miguel as our patient and encouraging instructor. we had a truly memorable experience at this hidden gem.
Although the location required some effort to reach, the dirt road leading to the camp was a bit bumpy and difficult to navigate, especially at night. Additionally, the camp was still undergoing construction during our visit, and some facilities were not yet fully finished.

The location of the camp is amazing, with beautiful views of the beach and the surrounding nature. The rooms may be simple, but they have everything you need, like comfortable beds and mosquito nets. The camp offers surfing lessons, with Miguel as a patient and thorough instructor.
Some aspects of the camp could be improved, such as the lack of locks on the bungalows and the toilet.

Great value for money, with basic but comfortable rooms and a unique outdoor experience. The location next to an empty beach is perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay. The staff, especially Miguel and his family, are incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure all your needs are met.
The breakfast experience could be improved with more variety or options.

My partner and I stayed at Miguel's Surf Camp for a week and it was an absolute dream. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to a stunning, deserted beach. The camp itself is surrounded by a beautiful garden where you can even pitch a tent if you prefer. The rustic charm of the camp with its outdoor showers and communal kitchen gave it a natural and authentic feel. The comfortable bed allowed us to fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. Miguel and his team were fantastic, providing surf lessons and renting out a variety of surfboards. They made our stay truly special and their positive energy was infectious. We are already planning our next visit!
